Welcome Back! My name is Jeff Griesbach (Mr. G) and I have the honor of joining the Fielding Drive School community as your Principal. I've been an educator with the OCDSB for 27 years and a school administrator in Ottawa South for the last 13, so I feel a special connection to the families in this community.

I am truly honored and excited to become part of the Fielding Drive community. I've heard so many wonderful things about the positive spirit here, and I'm eager to contribute to it. I hope that you have all had a safe and relaxing summer and that your child(ren) are excited to return to school on Tuesday, September 2. At the end of next week, you will receive an email with your child’s class assignment and other important information.

As the Fielding Drive Mission Statement says: “Within a positive, safe, inclusive environment, Fielding Drive Public School will provide programs which strive to meet the needs of all students by fostering the development of personal values, building skills and knowledge, and promoting responsibility for one's own lifelong learning.” I firmly believe that children do best in schools that are built on a foundation of trust and collaboration between home and school, and I'm committed to working together with you to ensure every student thrives.

I look forward to meeting your child(ren) in the weeks ahead and to connecting with parents / guardians as we work towards these goals. I will also be sharing details soon about upcoming opportunities to connect in person.
